Abdul, Humaid and Saud graduated from Stratford-upon-Avon College after completing a two year National Diploma in Engineering and are pictured here at their UAE Training Programme Awards Ceremony at Bexhill-on-Sea. 

The three boys were taught in a mixed class with our English students to help them improve their English and successfully completed their qualification. In the past the College has successfully helped a number of UAE students to complete their First Diploma in Engineering but this was our very first experience of offering the BTEC National Level 3 Engineering programme along with our home students. Both staff and students celebrated their success on the programme. After returning to the Arab Emirates they have had a number of jobs in aviation and are now on a 5 month training programme at RAF Cosford where they are studying aeronautical engineering and then possibly a place at university to study further.
